I'm cleaning out my iTunes, and I hate to just delete music, so I'm uploading it to Mediafire before I delete it.

I'm pretty much a completist (is that a word?) for Rancid and The Used, so if you want anything Rancid or The Used, just let me know. I have nearly everything. If you just want to browse Rancid stuff, you could always check out [profile] rancidfans.

Music I'm throwing away. )

Okay, I'm sleepy. Remind me I stopped at M.

I'm sure I've posted these already, but it bears repeating, because they're just that good.

Rancid - Let The Dominoes Fall

The Used - Artwork

This is all I've been listening to lately. My other music is jealous.

The best part of Skull City by Rancid is that, at 0:27, Tim says "Listen!" and then proceeds to say something completely indecipherable. (I've looked up the actual lyrics but I like indecipherable mumbling better.)

But I think the best example of Tim's badass hardcore mumbling is Warsaw. At 0:45, some lyric websites have "yeah man ?????".
Heartbreakingly beautiful acoustic pro-soldier anti-war song Civilian Ways.

Rise Against is opening for Rancid this summer, and I'm going to see Rancid this summer (yayayayayay). So I downloaded purchased some Rise Against on my flist's recommendation, and here it is:

Swing Life Away - This kind of makes me want to kill myself, sorry.

Life Less Frightening - I actually downloaded purchased this a few years ago when I heard it on the radio. It makes me think of struggling with a mental illness. I like its energy.

Give It All - This is a little too screamy. I like screamy, I just think other people do it better.

Ready to Fall

Worth Dying For - Am I crazy for thinking of The Offspring?

Anyway, the verdict is I like them, not a lot, but enough, and I'm looking forward to seeing them. If anyone wants to recommend another song by them, I'd be glad to download purchase it.

Oh, also, I couldn't find any fanfic about them. I looked at some pictures though, and they looked kind of sad. Maybe because no one is writing fanfic about them? Just a theory.

My Chemical Romance - The Ghost of You (Live) M4A - At 2:31, there are the three most perfect sex moans I've heard all day.

And yes, now that I'm pretty much done with grad school, I think this is how I can best use my free time to enrich the world around me.

I haven't been worried about the pet food recall, since I checked the list and none of Abby's foods were there, but Abby's exact brand and type of food just appeared on one of the new lists. I went to the Purina web site and took out all my cans, and none of my "plant codes" were the same, but I'm wondering if I should panic anyway. You know, just for the excitement.

In other news, I hate all of you, because you have clogged my iPod with emo boy bands. I can only see Pete Wentz's genitals so many times before I give in. Whenever people approach my desk at work I have to covertly slide my hand over my iPod so they don't see that I'm listening to Panic! at the Disco. I blame you for this, flist. Two questions: Is it just me, or is every Fall Out Boy song about two guys in love? and How awesome is that?
